Process Management is the Key!

Here are some of the top reasons why Process Management works:

Focused expertise. A coach has a very focused expertise that has come from many years of study, experience, and continuous education. The coach's specialized know-ledge, and ability to focus on specific areas offers the opportunity of achieving very powerful dynamics.

Remember: You can't be an expert in everything you do, nor can you be objective about the quality of everything you do. A coach makes that expertise available to you.

Dispassionate and objective. A coach has a dispassionate, and objective, point of view. We can't help but be emotionally involved when we evaluate ourselves. A coach will help you make better decisions.

External accountability. One of the well known keys to goal setting and achievement is external accountability. A coach helps you set goals, develop a plan to reach them and then serves as a source of continuous accountability.

Remember: We tend to do a much better job of keeping commitments made to others than we do for keeping commitments we've made to ourselves.

WHAT WE DO:

At Orion we utilize our "Personal Process Management System" to help clients identify and achieve personal and business goals. We assume the combination role of mentor, goal-setter and cheerleader. Through weekly visits, half-hour telephone consultations and follow-up emails, we help clients become more successful in the areas they wish to improve in.

We provide the incentive, direction -- and a "Personal Process Management" plan -- to help our clients change their lives. We can target a variety of needs from financial to interpersonal to time management. You may choose to target several areas of personal and professional development like entrepreneurship, parenting, career planning, corporate strategizing or health and wellness.

Though similar to psychotherapy, personal coaching does not focus on healing or resolving emotional and psychological issues. (Orion has a referral network in place, in the event our clients require counseling by a psychologist, internist or other professional.) Instead our trained consultants utilize time proven "Mind Matters" Techniques to challenge, inspire, motivate and focus our clients toward fulfilling their intended goals.

THE SKILLS WE POSSESS:

Exceptional listening, communication and people skills; organizational and goal-setting abilities; and the willingness to work collaboratively with our clients.

We are also patient, caring and sensitive to our clients' needs and personalities, while simultaneously motivating and inspiring our clients to work relentlessly toward reaching their goals.

SELECTING A "PROCESS MANAGER"/COACH/TRAINER

There are many areas where you might consider hiring a coach. Here are a few that come to mind:

BEHAVIOR DOES CHANGE

A simple rule of human behavior is that when properly motivated, behavior changes.

Have you ever walked by a mirror and automatically pulled in your stomach when you saw yourself? Taking on a coach in an area that is key to your success puts that element of your performance in the light of objective and continuous observation so that improvement occurs.

Finally, a good coach is nurturing. We tend to be impatient with ourselves and we fail to coax the best from our potential. The mark of a good coach is that when you leave them you feel better about yourself.

We offer complimentary introductory coaching sessions so clients can get a sense of what we can offer.
